How is it the last day of 2015? It’s over in the blink of an eye. Thank you to all of our 2015 couples for having us be a part of your special wedding day!
This year has been a wonderful year for Audrey Gatsby™. Welcome to the new website, I am so excited about this launch. The journey of AG has been most fabulous! Starting back in college, 2005, with a fine arts workshop that crossed over to my business final. In the fine arts workshop we were asked to go on a journey and present this journey in an artistic format. Hence my alter ego, Audrey Gatsby™ was created! At the same time in business class, we had to design a company. Wanting to do something creative, I put together a wedding planning business and named the company after my alter ego! The classes may have come to an end, but never the vision of AG.
I believe I was born with a creative soul and with the passion for events running through my veins, I immersed myself into the wedding world. Through college I worked as a wedding dress consultant at a bridal boutique, worked catering events, and helped plan and orchestrate beautiful occasions, all the while building my portfolio. Somewhere along the road I mentioned “I will own a business. If I could do anything thing, I would be a wedding planner”. Fast forward to 2013, AG is registered as a business in the state of Ohio and I received my degree in Event Planning and Design!
These last 3 years have been the greatest of the journey, discovering so much about myself and the business world. I would be lying if I didn’t say that at times I felt alone in the entrepreneurial world. Wondering who I could trust, who I could reach out to for help, all the while watching time pass by as the business seemed to stand still. Everything happens for at exactly the right moment! The right people came into my life, helping to fuel the dream and the most amazing opportunities have crossed my path. I’m thankful for every job, event, and bride that led me to this moment! 2016 has a full client list and 2017 is open for booking! I am truly thankful for each of you that have been apart of my journey with AG.
